Sue Machtley, PT has officially joined the Seattle
Center for Structural Medicine where she runs Green Grass Physical Therapy. Sue
aims to exceed patient expectations by providing orthopedic manual physical
therapy as well as comprehensive patient education. She believes teaching
patients about how their body moves is the key to achieving long-lasting

Sue Machtley started working in the field of
Physical Therapy in 2002. Her keen interest in spinal rehabilitation led her to
train under the direction of renowned manual physical therapist Stanley Paris,
PT, who particularly excels in his ability to treat the spine. In 2008, she was
eligible to sit for her Manual Therapy Certification, an advanced credential
held by fewer than 35 physical therapists in the state of Washington and fewer
than 2000 physical therapists in the nation!
Currently, Sue is working towards her Orthopedic Clinical Specialization (OCS)
through the American Physical Therapy Association.
She also serves as adjunct faculty at the Seattle Center for Oriental Medicine, www.siom.edu, where she teaches Surface Anatomy, Palpation and Kinesiology.
