Bowenwork® Modules 1 - 6
You are invited to a series of workshops to learn the innovative system of muscle and connective tissue therapy developed by the late Tom Bowen, in Australia.
Through a series of gentle and non-invasive soft tissue moves, Bowenwork® facilitates healing on physical, chemical, emotional, mental and energetic levels, and can relieve discomfort, realign postural imbalances and promote wellbeing in your clients.

Workshop Objectives

Understand the philosophy and principle concepts of the work. Bowenwork addresses musculoskeletal issues, internal organ and nervous system conditions.

Understand the Physiology of Bowenwork Moves: proprioceptive pathways within connective tissue. Central, Peripheral and Autonomic Nervous systems.

Describe and demonstrate specialized Bowenwork moves on musculo-tendinous structures on the body.

The Bowen “move” itself will be learned and tissue tension sensitivity and pressure sense develop in addition to location and sequence of moves.

The student will identify the appropriate anatomical landmarks for placement of the Bowen moves.

The student will learn indications for selecting and using appropriate procedures.

The student will learn how to evaluate and manage the client’s response to Bowenwork.

The student will learn to instruct the client in self –management and exercise following Bowenwork.
Cost:
Module 1 - $350 + $75 Registration Fee = $425
